Chapter 114: Letty and Sophie's Battle

Letty drew the Mithril sword she wore at her waist. There was no hesitation; her figure as she readied the blade with flowing movements exuded an air of dignity. Sophie readied her staff and concentrated. She, too, stood naturally with no sign of tension.

“Here I go!” Letty dashed out toward the pack of Magic Dogs that had appeared from the northeast. “I’ll back you up. Wind Cutter!” As Sophie unleashed her magic, multiple pale blue blades of wind flew forth. Usually, a wind blade is a single projectile, but it seems her skills have improved.

The wind blades released by Sophie reached the pack of Magic Dogs, and half of them vanished, leaving behind black smoke. As Letty closed in on the remaining five, she swung her sword, and they fell one after another as if weeds were being mowed down. The claws and fangs of the Magic Dogs didn’t even graze her. It was a one-sided battle.

However, just when I thought they were all wiped out, Luna shouted a warning. “One more is coming! It seems to be a much stronger monster this time.” Another Magic Dog appeared from the northeast. No, is that a Magic Dog? It’s too big for that, and the aura surrounding it is different.
