“Alright, since I’ve stored everything, let’s move to the town.”

The farm staff followed Theo and me.

It seems farm work has been given the day off today.

The planned site for the town is about a 10-minute walk from the farm.

It keeps the town clean and prevents foul odors.

I’ve heard that orally transmitted infectious diseases like the plague and cholera spread through water and food contaminated with bacteria.

I will build underground culvert sewers where wastewater from each house and rainwater from the roads will flow in.

It is difficult to build something underground that cannot be seen from the outside, but Theo and I can manage somehow.

“They are building a sewer system for the dirty water from the houses and the rainwater falling on the roads to flow into.”

Thomas explained on our behalf.

“Where does the dirty water go?”

“It goes to a place called a water purification plant. There, it’s allowed to settle, or passed through small stones to remove the dirt, and then it’s released into the river.”

“That’s an amazing system.”

The child who asked the question had sparkling eyes.

On this day, we wrapped things up after building the water purification plant.

The next day, I built a branch of the workshop.

It is intended to be used primarily by the craftsmen doing road construction.

It will serve as a base for them to build roads further south alongside the Golems.

I want the design of the workshop to be something unusual.

The workshop in Northernford has become a hot topic for its shell-like shape, inspired by an opera house from my original world.

As a result of thinking about what shape to make the workshop branch in the farm town, I decided on an exterior that looks like a milk can.

I’ll use iron for the material.

In this world, buildings are mostly made of stone or wood, so one with walls covered in iron is rare.

Processing iron plates into a round shape is not a simple task, but with the Production Skill, it can be made as long as I can imagine it.

I pictured a cylindrical iron building in my mind.

To make it look like a milk can, the second-floor section will taper towards the top.

And then I’ll attach glass windows and doors.

Wishing to create a building that will surprise tourists with its exterior and allow craftsmen to spend their time comfortably inside, I activate the skill.

When the warm light wrapping the materials faded, the exact building I imagined appeared.

From here, there’s one more trick.

I’ll expand the inside of the building using Spatial Magic.

I’ll make the first floor a large dining hall, and make the sleeping space on the second floor spacious as well.

In the basement, a wide workspace so that Golem maintenance can be done.

Wood Golems are working at the farm, and Iron Golems are scheduled to guard this town.

Then, I also built a base for the Knight Order.

When I consulted my father about the town planning, he agreed to dispatch a squad of the Knight Order.

I built a Knight Order barracks with a training ground and a bath near the outskirts of town.

The knights will protect the town from monsters alongside the Golems, and at the same time, they’ll handle any tourists that might get out of hand.

Having built various buildings and infrastructure, it’s starting to look a lot like a town now.
