Chapter 217: Let's Start Academy Life

When the classroom filled with students, the morning assembly began.

Our homeroom teacher was a veteran teacher hailing from an Earl’s family.

He was a gentleman with silver-gray hair, giving off a refined, mature vibe.

As for the students, Class A seemed to be assigned those who excelled particularly in a single area.

The Royal Academy entrance exam consists of both written and practical tests, but some students are only good at one or the other.

The practical exam involves fighting with a sword or magic.

The Prime Minister told me that they eventually want to include practical exams for the Production Skill and Commerce Skill as well, but it seems they haven’t yet prepared what kind of exams those will be.

I skipped the practical exam and got a perfect score on the written one. Flora did the exact same.

I suppose Flora and I are exactly the type that excels in one particular area.

In that regard, Letty scored highly on both the written and practical exams, so it wouldn’t have been strange if she was assigned to another class.

I wonder if we were put in the same class out of consideration for us.

By the way, commoners, who were allowed to enroll starting this year, have also been assigned to Class A.

I heard they were students blessed with the Commerce Skill.

“It seems students who aren’t nobles can enroll now too, huh.”

Our first class was history.

I didn’t think he would talk about the Production Skill and Commerce Skill in history class.

After class ended, Flora smiled warmly at me, and Letty praised us, saying, “The achievements of you two are already being brought up in lectures, huh.”

After history, we had a language class.

Following that was the lunch break.

Today, I plan to head to the undeveloped lands after eating lunch.

Even though I’ve enrolled in the Royal Academy, I will continue developing the southern undeveloped lands that will become my future territory.

I had already discussed that with His Majesty and Father before enrolling.

Since Letty and Flora are taking afternoon lectures, we’ll be acting separately in the afternoon.
